GSA Launches Alliant GWAC Social Community

1 min read

GSAThe General Services Administration has launched a new social media tool on the Interact.gsa.gov website in an effort to gain feedback from other agencies and industry partners.

The community page is intended to facilitate “transparent and open” discussions pertaining to the Alliant II and Alliant Small Business II governmentwide acquisition contract vehicles, GSA said Tuesday.

GSA started the Alliant Interact community to follow OASIS Interact forum’s platform for feedback and dialogue on proposals and ideas.

“Creating a feedback channel for industry and government to work in partnership with GSA in the creation of the next generation of Alliant and Alliant Small Business is critical to continuing the success of these billion-dollar programs,” Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Tom Sharpe said.

“This is just the first step in a long process, but this helps lay the groundwork for a smooth transition down the road,” he added.

Nearly 50 federal agencies have used the Alliant GWACs for information technology services acquisitions since 2009.
