Executive Mosaic on Tuesday spotlighted Leidos Chief Growth Officer Gerry Fasano and Defense Security Cooperation Agency Director James Hursch in honor of their 2024 Wash100 wins.

The Wash100 Award annually identifies executives in the government contracting industry who have demonstrated remarkable leadership. To be selected for a Wash100 Award, nominees must have proven their skill in navigating the complex GovCon space with a strong record of past accomplishments and the potential to continue this momentum.

Fasano was recognized for the fifth time this year, and what maintained his streak was his “talent, ability, consistency, strategic growth mindset and vision for Leidos’ future,” according to Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award. His range of achievements in 2023 includes securing contracts, pushing for technology advancement and being promoted to his current role. Click here to read his full profile.

Leidos is sponsoring the Potomac Officers Club’s 9th Annual Army Summit on June 13! This event will feature the Honorable Doug Bush, assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology as a keynote speaker. To learn more and secure your spot at the summit, click here.

Hursch’s 2024 Wash100 win is his first, and he was chosen for his work to support U.S. foreign policy objectives and build partnerships with international allies. In 2023, Hursch led numerous foreign military sales agreements, many of which were valued at billions of dollars. Garrettson said his work “plays a vital role in the security of our country.” Read his full profile here.
