Daniel Sernovitz writes the GSA signed a $53.9 million renewal lease agreement for the 2070 Chain Bridge Road building, which the Treasury has been occupying as a tenant since April 2004.
Last month, GSA extended office lease of the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission at 1800 M Street Northwest in Washington.
GSA estimates that lease renewals could save the government as much as $21.2 million in physical move and build-out costs.
