India could expand its involvement in post -9/11 Afghanistan with provisions of military supplies and equipment to the Central Asian country, Defense News reported Thursday.
Vivek Raghuvanshi writes that Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s camp handed over a wish list of weapons during a recent visit to New Delhi.
The report said the requested military hardware includes tanks, artillery, transport aircraft and medium-lift helicopters.
India already has a $2 billion commitment to fund road and infrastructure projects in Kabul.
