DoD said Thursday the top-line budget for the Military Intelligence Program in fiscal 2014 was $17.4 billion.
The MIP appropriations included base funding and money for overseas contingency operations, according to the agency.
In a separate release, ODNI said Congress approved funds amounting to $50.5 billion to support the National Intelligence Program in FY 2014.
The office is required to disclose top-line NIP annual spending figures within 30 days after the end of a fiscal year under federal law.
