NGA said Wednesday 15 of the awardees received $10,000 cash prizes and one entity secured a non-cash award under the Disparate Data Challenge‘s first phase wherein participants were asked to implement functioning systems that could facilitate access and retrieval processes for representative data sets analysis.
âThis challenge is part of a greater strategy to engage with innovators and problem solvers we havenât typically worked with,â said Mark DiPaolo, chief of the NGA’s mainstreaming innovation branch.
