HITRUST and HHS will hold regular threat briefings to discuss best practices, insights and lessons learned from recent or ongoing attacks, HITRUSTÂ said Thursday.
âHITRUST will continue working with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and HPH Sector Coordinating Council to aid organizations in using these tools to reduce the risk of cyber-related events,â said Daniel Nutkis, CEO at HITRUST.
Kevin Charest, HHS chief information security officer, said the team will work to distribute information to healthcare organizations to help them prepare and respond to cyber incidents.
The briefings will contain content and other resources from HITRUST C3 and the HHS Computer Security Incident Response Center.
