Baitman previously served as CIO of the Social Security Administration and co-chair of the Federal CIO Councilâs accessibility committee.
He worked at IBM as director of corporate strategy after he established a marketing group that formed IBM Researchâs research and development agenda.
Baitman also developed the Energy Departmentâs technology transfer and commercialization program.
He also serves as co-chair of the Federal CIO Councilâs privacy committee.
Baitman holds a masterâs degree in public management at the University of Maryland at College Park and a bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York in Albany.
