DCMA issued a request for information on Monday that asks vendors for their potential approaches to a system modernization project for the Mechanization of Contract Administration Services.
MOCAS comprises of online and batch system processing created with the COBOL and MANTIS programming languages.
The agency wants to convert the systemâs programming language from COBOL to an integrated contract administration support service in accordance with federal requirements.
DCMA uses the contract administration system to support its contract administration offices, the Defense Finance and Accounting Servicesâ contract pay, procurement offices and funding stations through the Defense Department.
Interested vendors are to submit their responses through Aug. 4.
