The Baldrige program proposed the Baldrige Cybersecurity Excellence Builder platform in compliance with NISTâs Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, Robert Fangmeyer writes in a blog post published Tuesday.
The Baldrige program collaborates with NISTâs applied cybersecurity division, Federal Chief Information Officer Tony Scottâs office and companies such as Boeing, PwCâs public sector practice and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital through a working group that seeks to develop the self-assessment tool.
The Baldrige Cybersecurity Excellence Builder will be designed to help institutions identify ways on how to update their risk management programs based on their cybersecurity objectives and requirements.
Baldrige and NIST expect to release a draft version of the tool and seek public feedback by the fall of 2016, according to the blog post.
