The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has tapped Ashley Boizelle to serve as acting general counsel from July 13th through Sept. 4th. She will fill in for FCC General Counsel Thomas Johnson, who is slated to take paternity leave, the agency said Monday.
Boizelle started her career at FCC in 2017 as deputy general counsel for administrative law. Prior to the commission, Boizelle worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and held the role of law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
