Margie Graves, federal deputy chief information officer, said support from an agencyâs top leaders is one of the factors the Technology Modernization Fund board considers before awarding federal funds through TMF, Federal Times reported Friday.
She said Wednesday at an Advanced Technology Academic Research Center event that the board also looks at the team’s talent and potential return on investment and assesses whether the projectâs technical approach meets the standards.
“Weâre asking those who [finish projects] to actually come back to the table with their learnings,â Graves added.
Suzette Kent, federal CIO and a 2019 Wash100 award winner, joined Graves at the event to speak about proposed projects for TMF.
