Raymond Cook Appointed Intell Community CIO

U.S. intelligence CommunityRaymond Cook, director of mission operations at the National Reconnaissance Office and also head of the CIA‘s space reconnaissance office, has been appointed chief information officer of the Intelligence Community.

Cook succeeds former IC CIO Al Tarasiuk more than two months after the latter retired from government service.

Cook will work on the Intelligence Community IT Enterprise program at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, among other areas of responsibility.

ICITE program is an initiative the IC launched to transform its approach to IT architecture, procurement and development.
