The Data.gov website has a new information source for U.S. government agencies that want to share their public data sets through the federally-run portal.
The site provides a list of resources and tools for posting government metadata and frequently asked questions about harvesting geospatial and non-federal data, according to a Data.gov article published Wednesday.
The online guide also details how agencies should organize their raw data for inclusion on the open data catalog.
