Robert Cardillo, former director at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and four-time Wash100 Award recipient, has joined Utah State University’s Space Dynamics Laboratory as a member of its guidance council. The council consists of industry and government veterans and is established to help the laboratory deliver industry insights and forge customer relationships, SDL said Monday.
Additionally, the organization seeks to support more than 850 professionals in the development, testing and management of aerial vehicles and small satellites for the intelligence and military sectors. Before NGA, Cardillo worked as a deputy director at the Defense Intelligence Agency and at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence for Intelligence Integration.
âRobertâs leadership within the government, coupled with his unwavering commitment to the U.S. Intelligence Community, will be a tremendous asset to the Space Dynamics Laboratory as we continue to seek opportunities to support our customers in protecting and defending our country,â said Niel Holt, director at SDL.
