Eisen is Special Counsel to the President for Ethics and Government Reform, a position he has held since Barack Obama took office in January 2009. Described as “Mr. No” by the Washington Post, the career D.C. attorney was first tasked with making Obama’s campaign promises concerning the role of lobbyist influence on the White House a reality. He also administered various seminars to White House staff in regards to ethic guidelines and serves as an advisor to the staff on the topic. Following his undergraduate studies at Brown University, he attended Harvard Law School where he met Obama. A partner at the ZuckermanSpaeder law firm, Eisen also co-founded Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).  Eisen was a major fundraiser for Obama during his campaign.
