PAE, a leading defense and government services contractor, has secured an 18-month, $98 million sole-source indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division to provide F-5 fighter aircraft logistics support.

Under the contract, PAE’s Readiness and Sustainment team will provide all maintenance and logistics support services for 43 F-5F and F-5N aircrafts at four naval bases across Florida, Nevada, Arizona and Louisiana through January 2023.

Charlie Peiffer, interim president and CEO of PAE said, “We look forward to continuing our longstanding relationship with the U.S. Navy by keeping its F-5 fleet mission-ready through support backed by our enduring commitment to excellence.”

Additionally, Peiffer noted that PAE is “uniquely experienced and skilled” in F-5 support and maintenance, positioning the company to successfully deliver services under the new contract.

This award continues PAE’s work under previous contracts with the U.S. Navy to maintain its F-5 fleet

Recently, PAE defended a bid protest raised by a competitor, successfully retaining their prime position on a previous $835 million contract to provide the U.S. Air Force with helicopter maintenance services. Peiffer said the successful defense highlighted the strength of PAE’s fleet management capabilities.
