Federal Procurement Data System’s Reporting Functions Will Migrate to Beta SAM Website in March

1 min read

The General Services Administration will move the Federal Procurement Data System’s main reporting functions – administrative, standard, ad hoc and static – to the System for Award Management’s beta website by March 16, Nextgov reported Wednesday.

A spokesperson for GSA said agency contract award data entry, search, data extracts and all other functions will remain on the FPDS website as the Department of the Treasury plans to update the online platform.

The spokersperson noted that all reporting functions at FPDS can be accessed through the beta SAM website’s Data Bank after March 16 and “there will be no more reporting functions available at FPDS after the transition.”

The ad hoc reports moving to the Data Bank will feature a number of changes including additional data fields and filters and a rise in the number of rows per report.
