The White House plans to send to Congress its proposed budget for fiscal year 2021 on Feb. 10, Defense News reported Monday.
The budget request is expected to continue to support the Pentagon’s efforts of implementing the National Defense Strategy. In December, President Donald Trump signed into law the FY 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, which includes $738B in defense funding.
