The General Services Administration will conduct the two-day Acquisition Training Symposium that is set to kick off April 25 in Huntsville, Alabama.
GSA’s federal acquisition service will host the event to inform federal procurement professionals about the agency’s products, services and tools, according to a Feb. 15 agency news release.
The two-day event will also feature a forum intended for industry and federal acquisition professionals as well as sessions on various governmentwide programs that seek to update the federal acquisition process.
FAS Commissioner Tom Sharpe said FAS seeks to share its acquisition knowledge with industry and federal procurement professionals through collaboration and training opportunities at the symposium.
GSA has opened the event’s free registration process for civilian federal and military personnel and exhibit sales for industry partners.
