Democratic National Committee Forms Cybersecurity Advisory Board

cyberThe Democratic National Committee has established a cybersecurity advisory board in an effort to help prevent future cyber attacks, Politico reported Thursday.

Nolan McCaskill writes the advisory board is created to respond to the DNC email leak allegedly perpetrated by hacker collective WikiLeaks.

Board members will include Rand Beers, former Department of Homeland Security acting secretary; Nicole Wong, a former deputy federal chief technology officer; Aneesh Copra, co-founder of Hunch Analytics and a former federal CTO; and Michael Sussmann, a partner at data security firm Perkins Coie.
