Soraya Correa: DHS Preps Professional Services Vendors for Agency’s OASIS Vehicle Transition

1 min read

mentorThe Department of Homeland Security has started to prepare for its adoption of a General Services Administration-run professional services contract vehicle as part of DHS’ strategic sourcing efforts, FCW reported Wednesday.

Mark Rockwell writes DHS asked its Technical, Acquisition and Business Support Services vendors to collaborate with providers under GSA’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services program ahead of the OASIS implementation at the department.

Soraya Correa, chief procurement officer at DHS, has said she believes the transition could help the department better manage its proposal evaluation, negotiation and ordering processes for professional service offerings.

The DHS’ TABBS program is scheduled to expire in two years and the department agreed in July to adopt the OASIS and OASIS Small Business contracts.
