big dataThe National Telecommunications and Information Administration has introduced a new tool designed to help users locate statistics and charting trends.

John Morris, associate administrator for the Office of Policy Analysis and Development, wrote in a blog post published Thursday the NTIA data central works to provide policymakers and researchers an access to data contained in the current population survey supplement.

NTIA changed its Digital Nation series into a blog format that presents an analysis of the use of computer and Internet in the U.S., Morris says.

A new data explorer tool also works to gather statistics from various calculations and represent the data through charts and the Analyze Table spreadsheet, according to Morris.

Datasets available in various formats date back from 1994 up to the present.
