The U.S.Â Marshals ServiceÂ has issued a request for information on potential partners in academia for activities in support of theÂ USMS Data Strategy that is part of the service’s transformational strategic plan.
USMS said in a notice posted Aug. 13Â on FedBizOpps that it aims to boostÂ value of its data for predictive and prescriptive analytics and focus onÂ data governance, data quality and data strategy.
The academic partnership initiative will work to develop skills throughÂ employee education and training on data analytics and internship or fellowship opportunities as well as aÂ knowledge consortium, the Marshals ServiceÂ added.
The serviceÂ said it aims to build up its capabilities as a data-driven organization to reduce risk and redundancy, improve reporting and decision timelines, and increase productivity and information exchange.
