The Department of Homeland Security has inked a memorandum of understanding with the General Services Administration to adopt GSA’s professional services procurement vehicle across the department.

DHS will use the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services and OASIS Small Business contracts as part of its strategic sourcing program, GSA said Tuesday.

“These contracts provide agencies with more flexible full-service options while driving down costs for our federal partners,” said Tom Sharpe, GSA federal acquisition service commissioner.

“We look forward to a long and successful partnership with DHS,” Sharpe added.

DHS will award multiple indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity or standalone contracts, learn about professional services spending, reduce proposal review period and evaluate proposals without the need for task-order contracting officers through OASIS and OASIS SB.

OASIS is designed to help clients find suppliers and services that meet their various requirements.
