SBA recognized USAID for collaborations with small businesses as the government seeks to increase competition for small businesses on direct and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts, USAID said Friday.
âAs we partner to end extreme poverty and promote resilient democratic societies, I encourage USAID to work with our countryâs small businesses to energize our economy and create a more secure and prosperous future for all,â said Alfonso Lenhardt, USAID acting administrator ambassador.
USAIDÂ allocated 21 percent of its domestic contract dollar obligations to small businesses in fiscal 2014.
