GSA Launches Contract Labor Rate Comparison Tool

1 min read

GSAThe General Services Administration‘s 18F digital services agency has developed a new tool for federal contracting officers to compare and analyze hourly billing rates for multiple contractor positions.

Nick Brethauer, a designer at 18F, writes in a blog post published Tuesday the Contract Awarded Labor Category platform is designed to help agencies determine the price range for up to 48,000 labor categories across GSA’s most recent contracts.

“This comparison is an important piece of information that contracting officers can use to inform their decision about which contracts should receive requests for quotations,” he stated.

The tool includes a filter option for users to narrow down their search for a specific position, according to Brethauer.

He added CALC works to search awarded prices on the MOBIS, LOGWORLD, AIMS and Consolidated Schedule vehicles for professional services.
