The General Services Administration has redesigned the acquisition.gov website to help government contracting personnel find rules and guidelines regarding the federal purchasing system.
Kamara Jones, GSA deputy press secretary, writes in a blog post published Monday the revamped site employs an interface designed to allow users to search contents of the GSA Acquisition Manual and the Federal Acquisition Regulation document by circular number or effective date.
GSA also included a section for government acquisition announcements and blogs, a rotating feature block and a multimedia library on the site.
The portal is also designed to offer links to the Federal Procurement Data System and Federal Business Opportunities database, supplemental resources and relevant training programs, according to Jones.
