1 min read

GSAGreg Godbout, executive director at the General Services Administration‘s 18F innovation laboratory, will step down from his position in early April, Federal News Radio reported Wednesday.

Michael O’Connell reports Godbout will transfer to another government agency and be succeeded in the interim by 18F Principal Deputy Executive Director Aaron Snow.

“Greg was instrumental in getting 18F off the ground and creating early successes for our clients,” said Denise Turner Roth, acting GSA administrator, according to the station.

“They started with a small group of forward thinking technology leaders and piece by piece they have built a team that continues to think like a lean startup — working quickly and being customer focused,” Roth added.

Godbout has served as a presidential innovation fellow and owns the Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse in Northern Virginia.
