In his presentation “Always-On Devices at Zero Energy: Layered Cognition in IoT” Rowen aims to address the rise of intelligent devices in the “Internet of Things,” a concept dealing with the automated transferring of data over a network without human-to-human interaction.
Rowen plans to present topics including the concept of “layered cognition” or the ebb and flow of system alertness responding to intelligence; the computing requirements that control the energy profile for “always-on” systems; and new processing, system and software that can allow for more efficient applications and products.
Rowen’s presentation goes live at 1:20 PT at the Beyond Fusion Conference on June 23.
