1 min read

NICNIC Maryland worked with Maryland’s state department of information and technology to redesign the official state website and add new features visitor analytics, personalization and mobile technology.

“With nearly a 200 percent increase in mobile users over the past year, the new design ensures a user experience that adapts to deliver all of the same interactive features and content on any device,” Isabel FitzGerald, the state agency’s secretary, said Tuesday.

The company’s work for Maryland.gov included a mobile-oriented design, additional predictive and contextual search results with Google’s Site Search API, MyMARYLAND Clipboard personalization for bookmarking webpages and Social Media Hub for interacting with the government and sharing content.

Maryland.gov also has a new calendar functionality for public meetings, a Near You geo-location functionality to indicate job vacancies and establishments and usage statistics for eGovernment services.

NIC Maryland develops e-government applications and provides related services to Maryland’s local and state government agencies.
