DISA Wants Contractors’ Feedback on Comms & Tech Support for CENTCOM in SW Asia

computer-technologyThe Defense Information Systems Agency has issued a draft solicitation for a contract covering communications technology and related support for U.S. Air Forces Central Command operations in Southwest Asia.

DISA said Friday that the Communications Technical Support Services program aims to support AFCENT networks used to facilitate data transmissions among joint services military personnel and coalition forces.

A selected vendor would integrate, deploy and maintain the systems that are intended to manage communications during U.S. tactical operations in the region, DISA said in the notice.

The project covers work in the areas of cyber system operations, communications engineering, client systems, knowledge operations management and radio frequency transmission systems.

DISA will accept responses to the solicitation until May 15.
