The team will develop an enterprise architecture intended to help NSF users access business intelligence reports, integrate information and manage dashboards, CRGT said Tuesday.
Work will also cover areas such as systems development lifecycle, operations and maintenance.
Tom Ferrando, CRGT president, said the team will work to help NSF apply business intelligence methods for scientific research programs.
NSF’s analytics system will be designed to incorporate Oracle BI and database platforms as well as an SAS extraction, transformation and loading tool.
The foundation awarded the contract to the CRGT-Synectics team through the CIO-SP3 Small Business indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle.
