GSAThe General Services Administration has signed a new 15-year lease agreement for an office building in Hyattsville, Md. currently occupied by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention‘s National Center for Health Statistics.

GSA says the NCHS building will be refurbished to both house more employees and reduce the center’s footprint by approximately 70,000 square feet.

The lease renewal includes provisions that require the NCHS to meet energy efficiency standards under the Energy Star program and LEED rating system.
