GSA Unveils New Office Equipment Sourcing Plan; Tom Sharpe Comments

GSAThe General Services Administration has published a scope of work document for its third-generation office supplies strategic sourcing contract vehicle.

GSA seeks to help multiple agencies acquire common office equipment and supplies through the OS3 vehicle, GSA said Monday.

The agency will host a virtual industry event on Dec. 10 to give interested vendors more information about the project.

“GSA is committed to working collaboratively with our partners across government and in the office supply community to save money and streamline the purchasing process for federal agencies,” said Tom Sharpe, commissioner of GSA’s federal acquisition service.

According to the agency, OS3 could bring in as much as $150 million in annual savings for the government.
