The Office of Federal Procurement Policy and the Small Business Administration will team up on small business contract data, the White House announced in a memo.
Both agencies will begin integrating two processes, which include the SBA sending agencies reports on anomalies related to small business contracting awards and the agencies turning those reports into the OFPP and the GSA.
The small business data quality reviews will reduce the acquisition workforce’s work and improve acquisition planning, the memo said. According to the agencies, the integration will help improve the accuracy of data and expect agencies to incorporate a stronger focus on small-business data.
